Senior Infrastructure Engineer — Certification Authority

This is a hands-on infrastructure role for IT Support Group readers interested in Linux operations, reliability, security, and the systems behind a public TLS certification authority. Fastly prefers candidates near Denver, San Francisco, or New York for hybrid work, while noting that exceptionally qualified remote U.S. candidates may be considered.
**What you would work on:**
- Build and maintain production infrastructure across datacenters and cloud, including databases, containers, operating systems, and security tooling.
- Operate monitoring and alerting, join an on-call rotation, and perform root-cause analysis after incidents.
- Develop automation and services in Go, Python, and Bash, and contribute to the Boulder-based ACME server.
- Support cryptographic operations, vulnerability remediation, change control, and annual WebTrust audit evidence.
**Good fit if:**
- You have a strong background operating and automating production Linux infrastructure.
- You can debug systems code and build operational tools in Go, Python, or a comparable language.
- You have production experience with Docker Compose or Kubernetes and structured change management.
- Database administration, PKI/HSM operations, monitoring design, or audited environments are useful additional strengths.
