Cloud Engineer, AWS

Level-up cloud role at Rackspace for sysadmins who have been poking at AWS on the side. Rackspace pays for cert study time and supports continuous learning — a real advantage if you're building toward Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer cert tracks. Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure for enterprise customers - Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation - Troubleshoot performance, availability, and cost issues across multi-account environments - Collaborate with customer teams on migration and modernization projects Requirements: - 3+ years infrastructure or sysadmin experience - Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS at minimum) - AWS Solutions Architect Associate cert or equivalent experience - Comfortable with Linux and scripting (Python or Bash) - Terraform or CloudFormation experience strongly preferred Fully remote within the US.
