Customer Reliability Engineer - Infrastructure

This customer-facing reliability role fits IT Support Group readers who enjoy solving production infrastructure issues while improving cloud platform operations. You would help keep Astronomer’s managed Airflow service reliable, with a focus on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, and customer incident response.
What you would work on:
- Troubleshoot customer environments and actively triage incidents from customers and monitoring systems.
- Operate and improve monitoring, alerting, and automation for daily operational work.
- Support reliable Kubernetes clusters and multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
- Work directly with customers to solve issues, meet SLAs, improve documentation, and guide production readiness.
Good fit if:
- You have five years of experience with large, complex cloud infrastructure and three years with Kubernetes.
- You have managed a production distributed system on at least one major cloud provider.
- You bring strong Linux, troubleshooting, communication, and customer-support skills.
- You have DevOps or CI/CD experience and can script in Python.
